1 TL, stamped with signature of George Westcott, director of New Nakamun Coals, Gas and Petroleum Limited, addressed to Mrs. Eva A. Michaelson Yates of Grange-over-Sands, Lancashire. Letter is dated 1922 Aug 12, and requests acknowledgement that she had received the two stock certificates (No. 1115 and 1114) for 150 and 100 shares of New Nakamun Coals, Gas and Petroleum Ltd. which originally accompanied the letter. Mrs. Yates received the stock certificates in exchange for two stock certificates in Nakamun Asphalt and Oil Co. Ltd. (No. 6361 for 100 shares, and No. 12966 for 150 shares) that she had previously returned. Verso of leaf is a printed map showing the location of the "New Nakamun Gas, Oil and Coal Fields" as well as Imperial Oil's oil strike in June, 1922.
